Community AND Community Resources are Critical

“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much” – Helen Keller

Sustaining the Circle of Care

Your continued support will help more kids catch up faster, empower more families to provide ongoing, effective in-home learning, and utilize community resources that will help the whole child develop and grow.

Throughout the school year, your gifts are helping children grow in confidence, in ability, and in their belief that they belong in school. As they grow academically, they also become more engaged in class—learning more of what they’re meant to learn in these critical early elementary-school years. That’s a good start!

“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.” – Frederick Douglass

Will you complete HER Circle of Care?

Through one-on-one reading and math tutoring, and family support, you will nurture an eager child in a circle of care so they may succeed in school.

But giving children a fairer chance to catch up in school takes more than tutoring. Through FamilyBridge, your gifts are also helping build bridges by engaging parents and caregivers. So while the kids are learning critical reading and math skills in school and through tutoring, their parents are confidently guiding learning at home and advocating for their child’s education for years to come. That’s even better!!

“By education I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and adult; body, mind and spirit.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Thanks to you, FamilyBridge is now extending the Circle of Care even further—connecting families with trusted community partners and lasting support that nurtures academic growth, builds self-confidence, and strengthens essential life skills. Together, we’re laying the foundation for lasting success in middle school, high school, and beyond.

FamilyBridge supports learning at home.

While you support caring, one-on-one tutoring, you are also building bridges that inform and engage families so they can better support their child’s education.

Here’s what that will look like over the next three years:

  • Stronger tutoring alignment with classrooms, so kids grow faster in reading and math with support that complements what teachers are already teaching.
  • In-home learning tools and regular updates for families, enabling them to stay informed and involved in their child’s academic growth.
  • Coaching and resources that build lasting confidence, so families can continue supporting learning long after tutoring ends.
  • Connections to local partners, like Boys and Girls Clubs and Big Brothers Big Sisters, who offer mentoring, enrichment, and long-term support.

Your continued support of FamilyBridge is strengthening the nurturing Circle of Care that surrounds every child we serve. Together, we will help more kids catch up faster, equip more families to provide ongoing, effective in-home learning, and connect them with community resources that will help the whole child develop and grow for years to come.
