When families feel informed and welcomed, parents become active partners in learning, and children are more likely to show up, stay engaged, and thrive. Help us strengthen communication with families and ensure every child receives the support they need.

Parent Outreach Liaisons provide an important connection between our program and families by reaching out to parents who may need additional follow-up beyond text communication.

Families feel reached and supported, and staff are alerted when a family may need additional follow-up.

What You'll Do

  • Make phone calls to Spanish-speaking parents who have not responded to text messages (after two direct or group text messages)
  • Make phone calls to Arabic-speaking parents who have not responded to text messages (after two direct or group text messages)
  • Provide outreach support to families in other languages, as needed
  • Offer compassionate, culturally responsive communication and help identify when families may need higher-tier support

Who You Are

Bilingual (Spanish, Arabic, or other needed languages)
Comfortable making phone calls and building rapport with families
Patient, respectful, and culturally responsive
Organized and reliable

Requirements

  • Live Scan background clearance
  • Negative TB status
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
