Ashley Verinsky

As an Associate Program Coordinator, Ashley manages and supports tutors at Succeeding by Reading clinics at multiple elementary school sites and assists with database management for the program. She earned a credential and Master’s Degree in Mild/Moderate Special Education from USF in 2005 and started volunteering with Children Rising in 2011 after teaching students with diverse needs for over 10 years. 

Ashley is passionate about teaching kids to read and enjoys watching them make consistent progress in their carefully designed, one-on-one tutoring sessions. In her spare time, Ashley likes spending time with her family, supporting children in foster care, and getting outdoors as much as possible.
