Meca Youngblood

Meca was introduced to Children Rising in 2017 when she hosted CareerBridge interns at Caltrans. She believes in the power of community and has a strong desire to make the world around her a better place. Seeking an opportunity to be more involved, she joined the Children Rising board in 2021.

Meca studied Communications at California State University Sacramento. She is the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer for Caltrans Bay Area, where she has served since 1996, and a group fitness instructor at Bladium Sports and Fitness Club.

When she can find some leisure time, she enjoys golfing and wine tasting.
